Note from Dr Nicolle Green, founder:

I established the Green Menopause Clinic this year to deliver tailored care to women going through the menopause and perimenopause. For most of the week, I am a busy NHS GP, which I love. However, in my work as a menopause specialist I really appreciate the time I have to really explore the woman’s symptoms, thoughts and questions. Continuity is as important to me as it is to you. By really getting to know your story, we can come up with the best plan together.

I qualified as a doctor in 2006, and as a GP in 2011. I obtained the Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare in 2011, and qualified to insert contraceptive intrauterine devices and implants. I obtained the Principles and Practice of Menopause Care certificate from the British Menopause Society, and am an ongoing member of the society.

As a GP myself, I believe passionately that the key to helping women is through a coordinated approach, that involves your GP (where you have given your permission) and any specialists involved in your care, where relevant. We work as a team in the NHS, and that should not be any different when seeking help privately.
