By continuing to use our products and services after the changes have been made and we have notified you of them, the way we use your personal data will be subject to the terms of the updated policy.
What personal information we hold about you?
Personal details
When you register with us, you provide us with basic information about yourself, such as your name, date of birth, telephone number, home address and email address. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information that you provide to us.
Health and medical information
The main type of information we hold about you is health and medical information, such as symptoms, treatments, consultations, medications and procedures. This includes details of your consultations with our doctors. This is to enable us to provide you with the best care possible. Information which identifies you will only be seen by The Green Menopause Clinic. When carrying out audits of our work to improve patient care, information will be anonymised.
On what basis do we use your personal data?
We use the data that you provide to us when you register with The Green Menopause Clinic, and the data that we collect during your consultations or contact us, as follows:

We may also receive information about your health from other organisations who are involved in providing you with health following a referral from The Green Menopause Clinic. This will be stored on your medical record to enable us to base our treatment on up to date information.

We will ask your permission to share the information you provide us with your own GP, in the interests of best practice. This will usually be in the form of a clinic letter written to summarise your consultation, but may also take place via telephone call or email where appropriate.
We may also need to share your personal data with health authorities, NHS Trusts, special health authorities, legal authorities and ambulance services. With your consent and, subject to strict sharing protocols about how it will be used, we may also share your information with social services, education services, local authorities, voluntary sector providers as well as the private sector.
Sometimes we need to share information so that other people, including healthcare staff, children or others with safeguarding needs, are protected from risk of harm. These circumstances are rare. We do not need your consent or agreement to do this.
Financial Information
All payments via credit or debit card are processed through our third-party processor “Stripe” that will store all payment information and transaction details. We will not retain your credit or debit card details.

Data Storage and Transfer
We do not store your personal data on our website. All personal and health data, including medication and diagnostic information are stored on secure servers of Semble. Data in transfer is fully encrypted.
