Your appointment

At your initial consultation, Dr Green will explore your symptoms and medical history in detail. Prior to your appointment, you will complete a questionnaire that will help her to focus this discussion further. This is part of the beauty of your appointment; the time to listen, to chat, to explore your thoughts, feelings and concerns, and to get to know you.

Your bespoke plan

Throughout your assessment, treatment and follow up, you will see the same doctor, so you know you are receiving a continued, bespoke approach from a doctor who knows you. Dr Green will discuss treatment options with you and together you will devise a plan of care. This may include medical treatment in the form of hormone replacement therapy, specifically body identical HRT. However, other treatments are available to help with symptoms, and this will also be discussed.

The practicalities

Dr Green will ask your permission to share your treatment plan with your own GP. Although this is not obligatory, her aim is to work with your GP, and any specialists involved in your medical care, to ensure any treatment provided is right for you. You will receive a detailed letter after your consultation, and any medication prescribed will be delivered directly to your door. Sometimes, a blood test may be recommended. This will be organised through our partners, with a UK-wide phlebotomy service available. We do not ask your own GP to carry out our blood tests. Results come directly to us and we will share the results promptly with you. We will plan follow up at agreed intervals, but a sooner appointment may be arranged should you require it.

Please note that Dr Green is an NHS GP for half of the week, but endeavours to respond to emails within seven working days. This may be longer during annual leave.
